Medals are highly collectable items of historical interest which may often have high sentimental value. Commonly associated with military service or sporting events, medals are awarded to people who have displayed exceptional performance or achievement, and they may be kept for a lifetime and longer as a memento of success.
Often presented on decorative ribbons, medals should be preserved with care in order to keep all parts of the medal free from damage. Although it is more durable than the ribbon it may be placed on, the metal medallion will also be susceptible to damage from damp and water which may tarnish or leave deposits on the surface.
Medals can be collected and kept free from damage in durable clear plastic wallets. A 60 x 120mm or 60 x 110mm wallet will fit most ribbon medals; however our plastic wallets for medals are available to your specific size requirements.
